How to record all incoming and outgoing calls automatically when going off-hook

In Options -> Recording you can select options to start recording instantly when going off-hook and to stop recording when going on-hook.  This function will also work as an answering machine companion: it will start recording in 8 seconds after the last incoming ring, so if your answering machine handles the message, Advanced Call Center will record it also.

Important

Plug your phone cord into the modem jack in order to allow the modem to track the handset position.  Some modems can not control handset position at all.  This feature not always work in TAPI mode even if the modem itself supports the detection (depending on modem's drivers).

Warning

Some modems (most 3Com / U.S. Robotics ones, for example) can miss Caller ID information in this mode.
